Neko Case, on the other hand, was amazing. She was refreshing and well-liked by the audience. I will start following her. One of those events where the main attraction was better than the opening entertainer. Five For Fighting played only his new stuff, which is very different from what he is known for. Several people in the audience kept yelling for "Trouble," but he did not play any old songs. He didn't even play it when he came back out for an encore at the end, despite the constant requests. Some of the songs went on for days, repeating the same riff about 10 times, no exaggeration. He obviously hates performing and is truly a songwriter who wants to do nothing else but record. It took quite a while before he even talked to the audience, and I thought at first he wasn't going to talk at all. A man of few words, though his voice is amazing and his band is very tight, I don't think it was worth what I paid.
